This is an incredible space. There are so many thoughtful details and the house is even better than the pictures show. It’s sparkling clean and has two workers making sure you have everything you need. It’s just a quick walk away from the beach and you fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. Pablo has been a great host going beyond what’s expected to make me feel safe and at home. Highly recommend the El Poseidon and hope to come back!

We are a couple who stayed at El Poseidon for the month of February. Our stay was in the 2nd floor suite which shares the entrance and the kitchen with the owners. The room was very comfortable, has a beautiful view of the jungle, ocean and beach below. Private washroom is very spacious with hot shower and the full kitchen, which we used daily throughout our stay, was great. The walk to the town and beach is approximately 5 to 7 minutes. You can easily access groceries, including fresh fruits and vegetables in the town of Zipolite or you can grab an inexpensive taxi to Puerto Angel or Pochutla for very fresh meat and fish. Two floors up from our floor on the roof is the terrace with a nice sundeck, sparkly clean pool and large screened area. We enjoyed using this quite a bit and had friends come over for drinks and dinners and use of the terrace several times. Internet access is great in the room and on the roof. The Hosts are wonderful and warm . They made us feel as if we were in our own home and were great sources of information and help for anything we needed. Their dogs are cute and loveable and we looked forward to seeing them every day. El Poseidon and the property is beautiful. We highly recommend it and look forward to getting back there soon.

El Poseidon is amazing. Most beautiful view in town, great rooftop pool, very convenient location to the beach and town. Pablo and his husband are fantastic hosts and made us feel right at home in paradise.

I had a great stay at El Poseidon! What a beautiful place. It is perfectly located right near the best part of the Zipolite beach, but up the hill to get great breezes and views. It's clear that the hosts worked tirelessly to build a beautiful place which has all the best finishes and design. They are great hosts! Very helpful with anything but also gave me plenty of privacy. The room was large and comfortable. All the windows are large and all screened so it was fresh and cool at night with the ceiling fans although hot weather during the day. The pool on the roof is heaven - so peaceful and stunning view. Definitely one of the best places to stay in Zipolite!

Amazing updated house, gorgeous rooftop pool, a great location, and uniquely stable wifi. Great spot if you want a quiet getaway and need to get some work done.

El Poseidon is awesome! Beautiful views, great amenities, stylish design -- a real 5-star experience in a lovely beach town better known for 1- to 3-star accommodations.

This is the second time I have stayed at Poseidon, and enjoyed it as much as, if not more than, I did the first time. The owners have built a beautiful and comfortable home, elegantly furnished and impeccably kept. The owners are delightful, kind, prompt to reply to any question, and very knowledgeable about the area. I look forward to returning to stay with them.

The photos don’t really do this place justice. It’s beautiful, you can hear the ocean in the morning, and the views are amazing. There’s no AC in most of the property so get ready to sweat. The stairs are also very steep, would not recommend for unfit/frail individuals, but it’s all well worth it for the views. Manuel and Jerusela (handyman and cleaner) were also a delight to talk to and spend time with. We’ll be back!

El Poseidon was the perfectest place I could imagine for my stay in Zipolite. It is minutes from the beach and the view of the beach from the terrace and rooms is to die for. Pablo and his Husband were the loveliest hosts I could imagine and all communication was quick and delightful. The deco in the place is marvellously done- great attention to detail and some very unique touches like a bathroom sink made of pure Onyx! There is greenery all around the property which brought a lushness to the place even at the end of the dry season. The rooftop terrace is a starring feature unto itself with a small saltwater pool and space for yoga, a massage or creative musing. I am already dreaming of going back! Thank you so much for the most charming stay and welcome to Zipolite!!!

Really enjoyed our stay at El Poseidon. We spent almost a week in the self-contained one-bedroom unit. The a/c unit was fabulous and the wifi was reliable and fast. The unit is decorated very nicely with a lovely bathroom and high end materials used through-out. The king bed was very comfortable and although we didn't use the amenities in the kitchen much, it was very well equipped. The roof top is really beautiful at night/sunset. Great views and a lovely breeze. The location is super convenient. I wish we hadn't rented a car from HUX as we really didn't need it once we arrived there (there is a secure parking space available if you do bring a car.) We were able to walk to excellent restaurants and the beach within a matter of minutes. Pablo, one of the owners, was very helpful and a pleasure to meet. The housekeeper was also lovely and kept the unit very clean. All in all a wonderful experience.

El Poseidón es de las mejores casas modernas y con un diseño espectacular para aprovechar cada espacio de ella. Me quede una semana entera para celebrar la luna de miel con mi esposo. Para encontrar la casa caminas unos cuantos metros. Tiene unas vistas increíbles. Todo queda cerca del pueblito Zipolite, tiendas y restaurantes. La casa tiene todas las comodidades y es muy acogedora. Y las atenciones de los anfitriones es inmejorable. Son súper atentos. Tienen servicio de limpieza cada dos días. Es el lugar ideal para descansar y desconectarse de la rutina. No me quería ir de ahí :)

Our stay in Zipolite was perfect. It's a short walk to the beach -- close enough to return to cook lunch, escape the heat (with AC), etc. The place has surreal views of the beach and the jungle, all the amenities you need (and more), an incredibly generous, thoughtful, and helpful host, who has the place kept sparkling clean! We highly recommend staying here, for a comfortable, stress-free stay, surrounded by beautiful scenery. We loved every minute of our stay!
